| If the body person is spraying paint, he should have been trained how to color match. I have painted cars for many years (mostly bumper sprays and touch up) and I wouldn't consider the job finished unless it matched perfectly in daylight and at night. Good shops will have thier paint supply in-house and can mix the paint to match perfectly rather than the guys that go only from the paint code and order a qt from thier local paint supplier. Paint code is hardly accurate for matching paint. Gary :matches by good painters...but I've never seen "perfect"...as in equivalent to Factory paint job. Best is to take the advice of a good body/paint person and save up $$ to do the job right (paint whole car if possible).
